Joseph W. Reed is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., 1954; M.A. 1958; PhD. 1961). Professor Emeritus of English and American Studies at Wesleyan University, Reed is a published author and artist working in a variety of genres, including painting, drawing, book arts, and medal design.
